I’m a multifaceted artist and have dedicated my life to the magical world of sound effects, music
and films, with an extensive career that spans over 30 years in the film and TV industry as a
sound designer and musician. My passion for storytelling through music and sound has led me
to this pinnacle moment in time.

My journey into the world of audio post-production began at an early age, while I was still in
high school. At just 15 years old, I delved into the intricate world of sound post production,
sound mixing and music editing, quickly gaining recognition for my innate talent and
unwavering dedication. This early start in the industry paved the way for a career filled with
innovation and excellence.

My experience with sound design allowed me to develop an acute understanding of how sound and music intertwine to create a truly immersive cinematic experience. This invaluable experience encouraged my evolution as a media music composer, giving me a push towards the amazing art of creating music for video.  It also helped me compose pieces with the depth and intricacy needed to uphold and support great stories and film projects.  These experiences also launched a new stage of my professional life.

With a career spanning more than three decades in the sound engineering world, I have
enhanced and expanded my goals and dedicated myself to learning and mastering orchestration and music composition.  I love the process of creating evocative compositions that provide the emotional backbone to a film.  I also enjoy working with the director to create music that helps them tell their story and bring about an emotional response that can only be achieved with a well crafted music soundtrack.   

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with many interesting characters of all walks of life. I
have been mentored by producers, directors and composers, that have created timeless
cinematic scores and films.

During my formation as a film music composer I have had the privilege to meet incredibly talented people.  I am especially excited to have met Eric and Gregory and to have formed Valknut Music Production.

 

We have joined forces, talents and a shared enthusiasm to offer film makers and others in need of original music a team that is creative, professional, genuinely interested in supporting our clients at the highest level and  just plain fun and easy to work with.
